We’re more than just a housing provider — we’re a second chance. Founded by Rhonnie Ashford, The Ashford House supports senior veterans and returning citizens with no place to go. Our home is built on dignity, safety, and a belief that everyone deserves support.

Do I need good credit to move in?
No credit check is required. We do not require first or last month’s rent either.
Who do you accept as residents?
We serve senior veterans, returning citizens, and traveling nurses — both men and women. No one is turned away due to background, orientation, or condition.
What does your housing include?
Furnished shared rooms, toiletries, kitchenware, utilities, 24/7 cameras, and transportation assistance.
Can you help me apply for Social Security or benefits?
Yes! We offer light assistance with paperwork for Social Security, Disability, and Pension.
Is there a deposit or upfront fee?
No. You can move in without a deposit or upfront costs.
