MEET THE FOUNDER

Hey, I'm Rhonnie Ashford!

I founded The Ashford House, LLC with one goal: to help people rebuild their lives with dignity.

This mission began when I saw close friends and loved ones being denied a fresh start—not because they lacked the will, but because they lacked support.

Many were veterans or formerly incarcerated individuals who couldn’t secure housing because of no credit, bad credit, or missing identification. Some had nowhere to go simply because they had no family to return to. In many cases, they were forced to remain in prison—not for new crimes, but because of systemic barriers and paperwork.

At The Ashford House, we believe in second chances.

We provide the structure, support, and compassion people need to step forward confidently and reclaim their lives.

This is one of the few homes I confidently refer my clients to. They treat everyone with dignity — and they deliver on their word.

I didn’t have a job or credit. But I had a second chance — and The Ashford House made sure I didn’t waste it.
